Lorean Kratz Obituary
Sylvia Lorean Kratz, age 87, a longtime resident of Yale, passed away on November 10, 2016 at Integris Hospital in Oklahoma City. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Cushing Oklahoma. Lorean was born on June 24, 1929 to Allen F. and Ruth Marie (Ross) Hyle. She grew up and was educated in the Yale area and was baptized and dedicated her life to the Lord in the Harrah Baptist Church in 1977.
Lorean lived in various places in Oklahoma during her lifetime, but returned to Yale to retire. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting and loved to cook—but, most of all she loved her family. Lorean had a very big heart and would always provide for those in need. She loved children and provided foster care to numerous children throughout her life.
Lorean is survived by her special friend Hugh Stout of Yale, one sister: Doris White and husband Russell of Yale, six nieces and nephews: Bonnie Lilly, Pam Sparks, Mike White and wife Cindy, Tony Hyle and wife Tina, Kim Hockbarth and husband John, and Myreta Wallace. Also surviving include several great nieces and nephews including Jordan, Nyla, Donovan and Skylar.
Lorean is preceded in death by her parents, husband Merle Kratz, sister Byrl Wallace, and brother Allen W. Hyle.
