Lester Otis Skinner Sr. Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lester Otis Skinner Sr. of Yale, Oklahoma, who passed away on July 29, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Nathaniel and Sylvia Marie Skinner; his sister Charlene; his brother-in-law J. D. Eikenbary; his children, Sandy, Wayne and Ronnie; and his great grandchildren, Noah Wilhelm, Anna Skinner and Justin Craig, II.
He is survived by: his former wife Rose Duvall; his wife Barbara Jennings; his children, Lester, Jr. (Debbie) of Stillwater, Larry (Kris) of Yale, Randy (Myra) of Ada, Timmy Skinner of Yale and Jaden Chambers of Ponca City; his sister Oleta; and his brother-in-law Howard Ellington of Yale. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Lester would later donate his bison herd to the Joseph H. Williams Tallgrass Prairie Preserve, where they can be seen today.
