He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ralph Lane and Fern Lane (Dennis); his siblings, Wendall Lane and Marjetta Williamson; his wife Beverly; his children, Tommy Crowley, Lisa Crowley of Pawhuska, Teresa Colburn, Jackson Colburn of Tahlequah, Melissa Grim and Charles Grim of Barnsdall; and his sister Reta Kurkowski of Tulsa. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
