He is survived by: his children, Bob Tolbert (Aimee), Reno Choate (Amanda), Shiloh Choate, Darrell Choate Honorary, T. J. Choate, Brandy McKinley and Monica Gilleland; his sisters, Cindy Popejoy, Sallie Choate and Retha Anthony; his grandchildren, Keely Charvat, Autumn, Joshua Mason Tolbert, Greyson, Scarlett, Kellan Choate and Tyler Choate; his close friend Donna Barnes; and his former wife Melissa Choate Mr.
