He was predeceased by: his parents, Mable Marie and Willis Leroy McLaughlin; his wife Walsie McLaughlin of Wynnewood; and his brothers, Rufus Dwight McLaughlin and Gregory Keith McLaughlin.
He is survived by: his siblings, Debra Dedek, Cyndy Green, Brenda (Bobby Dean) of Marietta and Gary (Sherry McLaughlin) of Valley View; his son Tim (Lynn McLaughlin) of Gainesville; his sister-in-law Martha Baker of Wynnewood; and his nieces and nephews, Meredith McNair, Leslie Larsen and Larry (Pamela Larsen).
A memorial service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (204 S Robberson Ave, Wynnewood, OK 73098). A burial was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at the Oaklawn Cemetery.
