He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Danny McAngus and Mae McAngus; his children, Diana Bateson (David) of Perry, OK, Bill McAngus (Reinee) of Pauls Valley, OK, Kathy Fletcher (Craig) of Norman, OK, Kerry Mick of Stillwater, OK, Richie McAngus of Cushing, OK and Melissa Coleman (Ron) of Morrison, OK.; and his sister Grace Turnbow (Carl) of Drumright, OK. He was also cherished by 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
