He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Ernest and Julia Margaret Rice; and his siblings, Richard Ray Rice, Robin Rice, Mable Gallagher, Shirley Miller and Janice Westerfield.
He is survived by: his brother Bruce Rice (Susan) of Milburn, Oklahoma. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
After a seven year roller coaster battle he was once again admitted into the hospital and treated for colitis complications; contacting pneumonia, then COVID and then double pneumonia.
