It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Darold Leo Schafer of Wynnewood, Oklahoma, born in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 1, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Schafer and Mary Schafer (Mercer); and his sister Dorothy June Schafer Cox. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Harrison; his brother Danny Schafer of Choctaw, OK; his son Don (Kacey Schafer); his grandchildren, Deyton Schafer, Dalise Schafer, Dalton, Jolie Schafer, Stacie, Brandon TJaden, Beck Schafer, Brantley and Sawyer TJaden; his son David (Patti Schafer); his grandchildren, Derek and Deavan Schafer; his great grandchild Owen Schafer; his daughters, Mary Murray of Moore, OK and Dara (Matt Ammons); his grandchildren, Dawson and Gracie Ammons; his daughter Dana (Shannon Schafer); and his grandchildren, Alexis and Victoria Schafer.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Dale K. Graham Veteran Foundation (http://www.dkgvf.org) Arrangements were made under the direction of DeArman Funeral Home in Wynnewood.
