He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Parlin Otis and Delia Mae Dodd (Crowson); his wife LaNeta Dodd; his grandson Tyler; his sister Quetha Ford; his sons, Deuane Dodd (Shelli) of Tishomingo, Brad Dodd (Patty) of Madill, Chris Dodd of Milburn and David Dodd (Laura) of Germany; his brother Ray Keith Dodd (Carolyn) of Mill Creek; his siblings-in-law, LaWanda Smith of Durant and Elmer Ford of Hobbs; and his grandchildren, Doug, Cassidy, Aaron, Zach, BreAnn, Payton, Raygan, Matt and Ryan. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews and friends.
