He is survived by: his wife Susan; and his children, Griffin Thomas (Belinda), Alana Mitchell, Kim Brooks (Susie), Charles Tanner and Jo Ann Tanner (John Beal). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
