It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cheryl Barkfelt (Wyandotte, Oklahoma), born in Neosho, Missouri, who passed away on April 28, 2018, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ronald McDermott and Quetta McDermott; and her brother Scotty Ray McDermott. She is survived by: her husband Mike Barkfelt of Wyandotte, OK; her children, Shad H. Strong (Viviana) of Findlay and Shelli L. Strong (Calvin Woodall) of Afton, OK; her grandchildren, Kelsi, Emily, Clayton, Quetta, Angelina, Dixie, Samantha and Scotty; her great grandchild Olivia; and her siblings, Ronald McDermott (Bruce), Rex McDermott (Bub) of Granby, MO and Geneva Hadley (Sis). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
