He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Childers and Esther Childers; his wife Rosemary Hardy Childers; his brothers, Larry, Danny, Wayne and Bill Childers; and his granddaughter Kimberly Childers.
He is survived by: his children, Lloyd Childers of Webb City, MO, Pamela Martin of Pittsburg, KS, Jeffery Childers of Springfield, MO and Terry Childers of Carthage, MO.; and his siblings, Don, Jim Childers, Betty Green, Linda McClure, Jeanette Collins, Joyce Holt and Sue Hansen. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, 4 grandsons, 2 granddaughters, and several great grandchildren.
