It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Shepherd of Wright City, Oklahoma, born in Garvin, Oklahoma, who passed away on June 16, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Johnson and Luetta Walker (Hawthorne); her husband Bobby Gene; her children, Bobby Dewayne, Verna Adams, Barbara Lou Shepherd and Kathy Kirby; and her grandchildren, Rebecca Laster, Colton Kirby and Dalton James.
She is survived by: her daughters, Katy Hanson of Wright City and Charlotte Packwood of Wright City; and her siblings, James Johnson (Brenda) of Wright City and Louise Fields (Josh) of Wright City. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 22 great-great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and many friends.
