She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Nowell and Ruby Peden Nowell; her son Kevin Cumpton; and her sister Dorothy Nowell. She is survived by: her husband John Cumpton of Wright City, Oklahoma; her daughters, Magin Cumpton of Malvern and Flecia (Steven Strain Jr.); her sister Sharon; her brother-in-law Elvin Roberts of Wright City, Oklahoma; and her grandchildren, C. J. Strain of Weatherford, Secret (Hunter Bennett), Dylan Strain of Valliant and Jaydon Booth of Malvern, Arkansas. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bowser Family Funeral Home Chapel (500 N Park Dr, Broken Bow, OK 74728). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Wright City First Baptist Church (200 E 4th St, Wright City, OK 74766).
