It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lana Sue Leist-Burkhart of Woodward, Oklahoma, born in Pontiac, Michigan, who passed away on April 13, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Virginia Leist and Dallas Leist. She is survived by: her husband Alan Burkhart; her children, Harmon Burkhart, Bill Burkhart (Valorie), Evan Burkhart and Liberty Burkhart; her siblings, Jan Enger (Von), Sherre Mawhirter (Brent), Ann Carlson (Max) and George Leist (Linda); and her grandchildren, Jordan, Blake, Kasi (Jon), Rylie, Abby, Caitlyn, Lauren, Paxton, Donald, Brantley and Zoey. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the VFW with Billings Funeral Home accepting contributions.
