He was predeceased by: his parents, George Vassar and Irene Vassar (Howard); his siblings-in-law, Willard and Stella Ball; his brother George; his siblings-in-law, Delphenia Vassar and Bill Long; and his great grandchild Naomi Eckels.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Vassar Jr. (Rhonda), Terry Vassar (Lisa) and Vicky Eckels of Woodward; his wife Lyndell Vassar (Ball); his sisters, Joy Long and Carol Campbell (Jerry); and his grandchildren, Heather Talley (Kenny), Mandy Sunderland (Trent), Kyla Wages (Josh), Shala Vanaki (Nick), Jeremy Vassar (Brenna), Kendall Smith (Michael), Doug Eckels (Sara), Kacie Barnes (Michael), Darren Eckels (Kami) and Ashley Eckels. He is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren: other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Faith United Methodist Church with the funeral home accepting the contributions.
