It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Lewis Ferguson of Woodward, Oklahoma, born in Waynoka, Oklahoma, who passed away on February 26, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Redd and Jesse Redd (Restine); his wife Wanda Ferguson (Hudspeth); his daughter Sarah Avila; and his sister Susie Gibson Moore.
He is survived by: his uncle Naoma (Restine); his former wife Carol Maehacek; his stepgrandchildren, Jason and Sarah; his children, Jason Ferguson (Amy) of Woodward, Oklahoma and Laura Shaw of Woodward; his stepsons, Mark Triplett (Marsha) of Luther and David Triplett of Alexandria Virginia; his siblings, Phillip Ferguson II of Woodward and Masie Bross (Larry) of Edmond; his grandchildren, Logan Ferguson, Noah Evans, Gabriella Evans, Sophia Avila, Jose Avila, Jasney Ferguson, Amanda Shaw and Rachelle Shaw; his stepgrandchild Randi Kay Prieto; his great grandchildren, Maxton Branson, Tayleigh Branson, Ashlei Branson and Anylzie McCathern; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Alexia Tapia, Jace Prieto and Cade Prieto; his siblings-in-law, Lanell Murray (Harold) and Tom Hudspeth (Brenda); and his pets, Heidi and Holli. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
