We are sad to announce that on December 29, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Gerald E. Murlin of Woodward, Oklahoma, born in Vici, Oklahoma. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Iola Belle Murlin (Ross) and Harry Murlin; his brother Darrel Murlin (Dorothy); and his brother-in-law Earl McClendon. He is survived by: his wife Erma Murlin; his children, Stephanie Murlin, Cynthia Bruner (Darrin) and Todd E. Murlin (Teresa); his grandchildren, Joshua Hartzell (Carly), Shelby Hartzell, Kyla Murlin (Jamie Albert), Emily Bruner, Ashley Bruner and Jenna Murlin; his great grandchildren, Kylor Parker, Addisyn Parker, Rhealey Albert, Kaiser Hartzell and Alexandria Albert; and his sister Norma McClendon. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Pulmonary Fibrosis Research with the funeral home accepting the contributions.

“Dear Erma, Cynthia and Darrin and kiddoes, Steph and Todd,. Bpb and I are so heavy hearted burdened with our loss of Gerald. I believe he has gone on ahead of the rest of us and is probably getting our "camping spots" and campfires with s'mores ready for when the rest of us join him in Heaven. He knows that the dogs and chipmonks up there are not BITERS so the Sheriff from Creede won't need to be called and no need for the "tree cop" either. Private joke with his Big Meadows Campground buds”
