With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gene Shahan of Woodward, Oklahoma, born in Shattuck, Oklahoma, who passed away on April 28, 2021 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervill Shahan and Jean Little Charley (Adams); his wife Diane Shahan; his father-in-law Meryle Keding; and his grandparents, Mandy, Nelson Shahan, John Adams, Milton and Mae McKenna.
He is survived by: his stepfather Joe Little Charley of Woodward; his children, Jamie Miller (Savanna) of Woodward, JaNice Phillips (Adam) of Woodward and Brandon Miller (Ashley) of Woodward; his grandchildren, Tadyn Miller, Catherine Hensley, Porter Hensley, Tyson Miller, Ali Vassar, Kash Shipley, Miley Vassar, Ava Miller, Maci Miller, Bo Miller, Christian Hensley and Remington Phillips; his great grandchild Cadence Gene Miller; his siblings, Greg Shahan (Julie) of Woodward, Terry Little Charley (Marilyn) of Oklahoma City, Douglas Shahan of Oklahoma City, Diana Yochum of Okay, Deborah Allen of Woodward and Cheryl Harris of Woodward; and his close friends, Kevin, Suzan Oâ, Brien, Leon Ramirez, Mike Farley and James Penrod. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Woodward Hope Center with the funeral home accepting the contributions.
