He was predeceased by: his parents, Clark Heckart and Zella M. Heckart (Young); his wife Barbara Garvie; and his sister-in-law Karen Garvie. He is survived by: his sons, Kenny Heckart (Valerie) and Steve Heckart (Rhonda); his grandchild Sydnie Bero (Jeremy); his sons, Mitchel Heckart, Seth Heckart (McKenzie), Taylor Heckart and Regan Heckart; his great grandchildren, Gavin Marshall Bero and Griffin Harmon Bero; and his brothers-in-law, Charles Garvie and John Garvie (Pam).
