He is survived by: his former wife Carol Anne Sutter; his children, Cliff of Kingston and Karen Merrill (Ken) of Aline; his stepchildren, Deborah Lawrence of Oklahoma City and Gary Wood of Woodward; his grandchildren, Bridgette Speake (Tracy) of Memphis, Zachary Lawrence (Whitney) of Norman, Josh Wise (Kenna) of Weatherford, Amanda Upchurch (Tanner) of Piedmont, Curtis Waddell (Amanda) of Tuttle, Kent Waddell (Crystal) of Mooreland, Coulter Merrill of Navarre, Kelly Merrill (Kristin) of Perkins, Andrew Merrill (Jessica) of Melissa and Amy Popham (James) of Enid; and his sisters, Kay Reid of Hutchinson and Jean Peters of Olsburg, Kansas..
