He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Hill and Isel Hill (Mason); his spouse Simmie Lou Wheeler; and his brothers, Charles Hill, Wayne Hill, Don Hill and Bill Hill.
He is survived by: his son Gary Dale (Kristi); his sibling Woodward; his daughter Rhonda Vassar (Kenny); his granddaughters, Heather Talley (Kenny), Mandy Sunderland (Trent), Jennifer Hedges (Ted), Kyla Wages (Josh), Shala Vanaki (Nick) and Simmie Jo Shrout (Nick); his siblings, Marjorie McDowell, Joyce McDowell, Jeanie Decker (Duane), Roscoe Hill and Paul Hill; his siblings-in-law, Dale Haskins and Sandra Peach (Ronnie); his close friend Donna Hunter; his sister Janice Haskins; and his siblings-in-law, Betty Hill, Gladys Hill, Linda Hill, Roberta Hill, Wilma Hill, Ann Hill, Bob Crawford, Skeet McDowell and Doug McDowell. He is also survived by many nieces nephews & wonderful friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Faith United Methodist Church or the Northwest Crisis Center with the funeral home accepting contributions.
