He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Sherrell and Isabelle Sherrell (Hollis); his wife Jeannette Sherrell; and his daughter Sunney Sherrell. He is survived by: his children, Sandra Beth Brittain (Jim), Daniel Sherrell and Edward Sherrell; his brother Donald Sherrell; and his grandson Duncan James Brittain.
