It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Gayle Smith of Wister, Oklahoma, born in Poteau, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 2, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Scroggins and Bernie Scroggins (Walts); her daughter Nola Gayle Robertson; and her father-in-law Harold Smith. She is survived by: her husband Gary Smith; her sons, Gary Smith (Terri) and Stanton Smith (Gail); her grandsons, Chad Smith and Chance Smith; her siblings-in-law, Randall Smith (Eva) and Genice Smith; and her mother-in-law Jane Smith Brown. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
