He was predeceased by: his brother David Wright; and his daughter Tammy Wright. He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his stepdaughters, Amanda Thompson (Kent) of Wilson and Victoria Arnold (Randall) of Enos; his grandchildren, Soraya and Dillon; his brother Johnny C. Turner (Angela) of Wilson; and his close friend John David Smith of Lone Grove.
