Walter McMurtrey Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter McMurtrey of Wilson, Oklahoma, born in Albany, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 30, 2021 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake J. McMurtrey and Luci Ann Townsend McMurtrey. He is survived by: his daughter Marie Severa; his granddaughter Stacey McMurtrey Scott; his siblings, Homer, Leonard, Pete, Decie and Yvonne; his children, Linda McMurtrey and Jerry McMurtrey (Nancy); and his sister Alva McKay. He is also survived by four grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and seventeen great-great grandchildren.
