He was predeceased by: his parents, David Andrew Pickens and Dovie Bell Pickens (Jones); his son-in-law Danny Morse; his siblings, Geraldine Green, Floy Simmons, Lavada Guy, Everett, Eddie and J. P. Pickens; and his niece Shirley McPherson (Kenneth).
He is survived by: his wife Myrna; his children, Tommie Lou Morse, Ted Pickens (Cindy), Terry Bland (Terry) and Suzi Layn; and his stepchildren, Leonard Hackworth (Renee), Donna Palumbo (Tony) and Jackie Tutton (Letha Harlow). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, along with a host of other family and friends.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home (1302 7th St, Wilson, OK 73463).
