He was predeceased by: his father John Brackenridge "J. B."; his son J. B. Farrell; and his brother Darrell Farrell. He is survived by: his sons, Mark Griffin of Wilson, Richard Farrell, Jr. of Marietta, Greg Farrell of Overbrook and Billy Farrell (Angelia) of Blanchard; his siblings, John Brackenridge Farrell, IV (Jean) of Fort Collins, CO and Cindy Farrell Bazzrea of Wilson; his sister-in-law Jean Farrell of Wilson; and his grandchildren, Richard, Anna, Benjamin, Zachary, Abigail, Elizabeth and Emaleigh.
