He is survived by: his mother Gladys Shepard Hayes (Martin) of Poteau; his wife Cathy; his sons, Donald Shepard (Margie) of Wilson, David Wayne Shepard of Wilson and Steve Shepard (Lynn) of Wilson; his siblings, Joe Shepard, Paulette Murray, Ray Shepard, Jesse James "Jim" Hayes, Wesley Hayes, Nub Hayes, Janis Hayes and Jerry Hayes; and his grandchildren, Randy, Levi, Steven, Taylor, Brittany and Malorie.
