He is survived by: his mother Wanda Vernon (Mathews) of Wilburton; his wife Elizabeth Vernon; his children, Britany Vernon of Manteca, CA and Derick Vernon of Modesto, CA; and his siblings, Gregory Bird (Jan) of Indianola, Linda Amaral of Wilburton and Kelly Winn (Greg) of Sun City, AZ. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews.
