It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard A. Swanson (Wilburton, Oklahoma), born in Muskogee, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 26, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence (Bervinkle) and Herman A. Swanson, Sr.; his daughter Janie Jones; his grandson Patrick Michael Williams; and his siblings, Herman A. Swanson, Jr., Carl Swanson and JoAnn Harber.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Swanson (Brady); his sons, David (Tracy Swanson) and Patrick (Angela Swanson); his stepdaughter Janice Rosecrans of Nashville, Tennessee.; his nephew John Swanson of Pasadena, Texas.; and his nieces, Shari Worsham of South Lake and Terri King of Grapevine, Texas.. He is also survived by 4 Grandchildren and 1 Great grandchild.
