She was predeceased by: her parents, Remel Houston and Lee Houston (Reid); her siblings, Elmer Houston, Lloye Houston, Mary Glenn and Lou Vera Houston; her daughter Karen Wise Mathis; her sons-in-law, Lynn Mathis, Eugene Dukes and Mike McCollum; and her grandchildren, Andrea Barlow and Wade Dukes.
She is survived by: her children, Linda McCollum, Kathy Dukes, Bill Wise and Mark Wise. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
