He is survived by: his wife Caroll Louise Short (Harber); his children, Micah John Short (Kristy) of Huntsville, AL, Shelly Von Short of Oklahoma City and Tina Lanette Slater (David) of Wilburton; his grandchildren, Kaitlynn Micah Short of Huntsville, AL and Emily Rose Short of Huntsville, AL; his great grandchild Miley Lynn Harris; his sisters, Beatrice Inscore (Cliff) of Springfield, MO and Joan Dickerson of Orlando, FL; and his siblings-in-law, Lisa Turney (Larry) of McAlester, Debbie Woody (Mike) of Nacogdoches, TX and Buck Harber (Brenda) of Wilburton. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
