It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Michal Brown of Wewoka, Oklahoma, born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 20, 2020, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Beatrice Carey; her brother Don Carey; her father-in-law Roy M. Brown Sr.; and her brothers-in-law, Estel Fisher and Calvin Bagley.
She is survived by: her husband Roy "Marty" M. Brown Jr.; her father James Carey; her son Wesley J. Brown Sr. (Leah N. Brown) of Wewoka; her grandchildren, Kelsie Brown, Lindsey Brown, Craven Brown and Wesley Brown Jr.; her siblings, Linda Fisher, Leda Walters (Allen), Jean Bagley, Necie Albertson (Stan), Shirlene Howard (Ronnie), Vanessa Ashby (Tom) and Brad Carey (Rebecca); her sisters-in-law, Carlotta Carey, Debbie Epperley (Randy), Gaylene Thompson and Karen McFarren (Mark); and her mother-in-law Artie Nogle. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
