He was predeceased by: his father James Walsh; his son Keith Walsh; his cousin Cindy May; and his former wife Nina Seppanen. He is survived by: his mother Doris Ruth Walsh (May) of Rockwell, TX; his daughter Mary Summy (Terry); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Fox, Rizzie Calvin, Samuel Fallin and Alex Summy; his great grandchild Nicole Young; his siblings, Mary Philipus (Mike) of Rockwall, TX, Patty Lane of Missouri and Jim Walsh (Elsie) of Virginia; and his cousin Debbie Richmond (Steve) of Lancaster, TX.. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
