He was predeceased by: his wife Bea; and his son Ricky McDowell. He is survived by: his children, Bert Gene McDowell of Wewoka, OK, Debora "Penny" Banks of Mena, AR and Quinton McDowell (Nicole) of Washington; and his grandchildren, Misty Isaacs, Jett McDowell, Amber Brumley and Chris Brumley. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
