She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Reece Alexander and Lena Mae Liddell; her children, Richard Charles Smith, Velma Edwards and David Leslie; and her siblings, Mildred Alexander, Ruggie Mae Caldwell, Earlie Dangerfield and Velma Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Syiblean Spencer of Wewoka, OK, Mary Louise Smith of Wewoka, OK and Curtis Dewayne Alexander (Choquzer) of Shawnee, OK; and her sister Virginia Jo Reynolds of Tulsa, OK. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
