Leroy Orsburn Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leroy Orsburn of Wewoka, Oklahoma, who passed away on May 25, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Orsburn and Dora Orsburn (Moran) of Wewoka. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, David Taylor (Kristen), Glenn Orsburn (Margaret) and Kathryn Shurden (Frank); and his grandchildren, Jody Taylor, Brandon Taylor, Josh Taylor, Amber Holsomback, Ashley Taylor, Amy Beth Dalton, Eric Orsburn and Mandy Brumley. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
He was also active in the Seminole County Cattlemen's Association, the Oklahoma Charolais Association, the National Arbor Day Foundation, and the Oklahoma Farm Bureau. Leroy Orsburn's family was named the Oklahoma Farm Bureau Farm Family of the Year in 1976 and received the Arbor Day Foundation Good Steward Award in 2001.
