He was predeceased by: his parents, Jonah Muska Harjo and Effie Lena Harjo (Carpitcher); his siblings, Joann Harjo and Michael Harjo (Chebonee); and his grandson Cemse J Harjo-Tiger.
He is survived by: his wife Betsy Harjo (Walters); his daughters, Cynthia Johnson, Teresa Harjo, Jennifer Harjo and Kimberly Harjo; his sisters, Michele Harjo of Wewoka and Melissa Johnson of Wewoka; his aunt Alice Walters; his uncle Cully Carpitcher of Sasakwa; his grandchildren, PJ, Nicki, Joanah, Christian, Mya, Gunner, Jordy, Hannah (Hannie), Gaylen and McKayla; his great grandchildren, Josslyn, Ainsley, Smellz, Addy, Netty, Cooper, Kamden, Zarina, Dominic, Carter, Atara, Addi, Prince, Zimrie, Zaylon and Kasiah; and his grandchildren, Nora, Hailey and Chloe. He is also survived by Numerous great nieces and nephews, extended family and many friends.
