He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Tiger and Annie Tiger (Hulbutta); his wife Margaret Tiger; his sons, Gregory Tiger and George Tiger; his sisters, Elizabeth Buckner, Judy Cloud, Mary Burgess, Martha Bowlegs and Merna Merrit; and his granddaughter Tessa Coon (Tiger).

He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Tiger of Wewoka, OK, Bennie Tiger (Lenora) of Wewoka, OK, Houston Tiger Jr. (Rosie) of Wewoka, OK and Jason Tiger (Darleata) of Seminole, OK; and his sisters, Nellie Tiger of Wewoka, OK and Nora Jacobs of Seminole, OK. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
