He was predeceased by: his father Donald Brandt; his grandparents, Sterling, Edna Brandt, Alvie Smith and Gracie (Bill Alsup); and his niece Sarah Beth Brandt.

He is survived by: his daughter Gracie Kay Brandt; the mother of his child Tiffany; his mother Kay Brandt (Smith); and his siblings, Tommy Brandt (Gina) and Penny Strunk (James) of Okemah. He is also survived by several other extended family members and many friends.
