He was predeceased by: his parents, James Leo Ponder and Katie Ann Ponder (Ashley); and his siblings, Robert Ray, Wayne, Sammy and Linda Kay Pymm.
He is survived by: his sister Lavada Bennett; his children, Tommy Ponder (Darlene) of Hereford, TX, Kelley Metcalf (Sam) of Midwest City, OK, Paula Maxwell (Heath) of Hereford, TX, Joe Ponder (Keli) of Wellington, TX, Katie Gooslby (David) of Seabrook, TX, Thomas Ponder (Buster) of Houston, TX and Dejanira Hinton; his stepchildren, Teresa Porter-Strumm of Cushing, OK, Jimmy Porter of Stilwell, OK, Vivian Porter of Stilwell and Sandra Bollinger (David) of Westville, OK; his grandsons, Christopher Moore of Stilwell, OK and Travis Porter; and his sister Margie Moore of Baron, OK. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
