He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Stieber and Alvena Stieber (Hodde); his former wife Vesta Sharlene Sage; and his brother Leon Stieber. He is survived by: his daughters, Robbi Shawna (Robbie Aucoin) and Sharla Rae (Jeff Dyer); his wife Rita Stieber (Burkle); his grandchildren, Zachary Rush (Ashley), Ethan Aucoin, Shayla, Brittany Robbins and Kaitlyn (Tyler Evans); his stepgrandchildren, Tylor Robbins, Alysson Collins and Jordan Dyer; and his brother Jackie (Janna Stieber). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lehman Funeral Home (334501 U. S. Rt. 66, Wellston, OK 74881). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at the Oak Park Cemetery.
He decided to retire from farming in 2021, as his Alzheimer's symptoms were progressing.
