It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dan Stites of Wellston, Oklahoma, born in Hanna, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 18, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Butler and Dicie Pendley Stites; his wife Mary Stites; and his siblings, Billy, James, Laura Lou and Melva Joy.
He is survived by: his daughter Debi Hawkins; his granddaughter Danielle of Wellston; and his brother Colonel Stites of California. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
