With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Mayes of Welling, Oklahoma, born in Proctor, Oklahoma, who passed away on September 10, 2023 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donald Mayes to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Mayes (Bill) and Ruby Mayes (Moody); his wife Zora Helen Jones; and his son Donald Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Twila Jeannette (Harold Ratner) of Topeka, Kansas; his sister Mary Hayden of Okmulgee, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Devin White (Angela) of Whiting, Jeremy White (Amber) of Hoyt, Trey Mayes (Amy) of Hagerstown and Megan Mayes of Boonesboro, Maryland; and his great grandchildren, Gracie, Ellie, Parker and Braxton. He is also survived by nephew, nieces, and some great friends.
