He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Anna Harjo (Belcher). He is survived by: his children, Cheyenne Fields (Michael) of Weleetka, Rhianna Harjo of Weleetka, Joseph Harjo of Weleetka, Nelson Harjo, Jr. of Weleetka, Cassandra Harjo (Eric McNac) of Okmulgee, Cherokee Harjo, Johnathan Harjo of Okemah and Jordan Harjo of Claremore; his siblings, Bennie Harjo, Jr. (Brenda) of Okmulgee, Daniel Harjo (Irene) of Kennedale and Katherine Harjo-Ochoa of Weleetka; and his father Rev. Bennie Harjo of Weleetka. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, along with several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
