He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Hoover and Vivian Hoover (Lee); and his siblings, Johnny (Beverly), Ruth Adamson (David) and Clarence Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Jack Hoover Jr., Jackie Pannell (Brad) and Debbie Henderson (Paul); and his grandsons, William Pannell, Steven Puskas and Austin Puskas.
