He is survived by: his wife Mary Potter; his sons, Paul Ashworth (Jill) of Stroud, Okla and Thomas Jeffrey Ashworth (Staci) of Joplin, MO; his brothers, Vic Karnes of Columbia, MO and Brad Karnes of Alabama; and his grandchildren, Paul Ashworth (Amber), Sarah Ashworth (Josh), Samantha Watson (Dustin), Christopher Ashworth (Mary) and Katie Nickell (Spencer). He is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
