She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry Brown and Wilma Brown (Doan); and her sister Donna Fletcher. She is survived by: her husband Dariel Cooksey; her stepgrandchildren, Riley and Daniel; and her aunts, Rita McGuirk and Rosetta Doan. She is also survived by 3 nieces, 2 nephews, 2 great nieces, and 2 great nephews.
