He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ward Everett Paxson and Mary Elizabeth Paxson (Gillespie); his wife Doretha Moss; his children, Donald Paxson, Jr. (Betty) of Vinita, Douglas Paxson (Rose) of Vinita, Jody Paxson (Cheryl) of Chetopa, KS, Lori Rose of Baxter Springs, KS and Angela Hensley of Vinita; and his sister Mary Lewis of Miami. He was also cherished by 17 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
